I was fortunate enough to experience luxury on the emerald island of Corfu during the last week of May, courtesy of the Holiday Lounge, Jet2 Holidays & Domes Hotels.
Hotel Domes Corfu
I stayed with a group of agents at the beachfront Domes of Corfu Autograph Collection Hotel.
This stunning hotel is set in the cove of Glyfda on the west coast of Corfu, with stunning sunsets and is just 45 mins from the airport. With 3 swimming pools including one children’s pool and one adult only, 4 restaurants, the main buffet & 3 A la cartes, you will be spoilt for choice as to where you are going to spend your days or dine in the evening and not to mention the beautiful sandy beach with crystal clear waters.
The Domes Corfu is ideal for couples or families for the perfect get away.
Whilst away I have had the opportunity to sample the amazing Greek food. Penny, our host from The domes collection advised there would be plenty of food to try from the four restaurants, but I cannot even begin to describe how amazing it was with lunch served in a traditional family style where you are all seated together and sharing dishes are brought to the table.
A visit to Corfu town was a big surprise with the fabulous architecture, shops and restaurant this would be make an ideal weekend getaway.
The 2nd hotel of the Domes collection we visited The Domes Mirmare the luxury collection.
We spent the day at the The Domes Miramare, designed for adults this hotel is an elegant seafront oasis with rooms, suites and villas built around a 400-year-old olive grove. This stunning hotel on the east coast is about 30 mins from Corfu town and airport. Once you step through the front door you are welcomed in the olive room to check in with stunning sea views and next to the legendary Blu Bar that once hosted parties to royalty.
I was impressed by this hotel from the views, service, and food and not to mention the luxury speed boat you can hire.
Greece is renowned for its olive oil, and we were lucky to take part in an olive oil tasting session with Maroudi Family from the island. A sound healing and well-being session, where sounds and vibrations clear the mind and relaxed me so deeply.
