Constantinou Bros Resort visit 23rd March – 30th March 2025
A big thank you to Constantinou Bros for a wonderful experience visiting there fantastic hotels and the Paphos region of Cyprus.
23rd March 2025
Departure from East Midlands Airport with Jet2.com to Paphos, 4hrs 25mins flight leaving East Midlands on a cold foggy morning and arriving into Paphos in glorious sunshine and a lovely 23 degrees.
A short 20 minutes transfer to my first hotel The Constantinou Athena Beach Hotel, This is an amazing hotel in a fantastic location right on the sea front costal path way with great sea views from some rooms and most public areas.
Upon check in I was directed to the Private Elite Class check in lounge and was welcomed with a nice cold glass of champagne and a refreshing cold towel, After completing the check in formalities I was taken to my room which was on the 4th Floor a Superior Sea View Room with Balcony.
My room was very spacious and the Sea View was amazing as were all of the facilities within the room including the fluffy dressing gown and slippers and deluxe toiletries, Fresh fruit platter and Tea & Coffee making facilities including an Espresso machine.
After settling in to my room and having a refresh I went down stairs to explore the hotel, The grounds of the hotel are lovely and lovely gardens around the pools and outside bar areas.
The different restaurants are all located on the lower ground floor and have indoor and outdoor seating so its great to dine al fresco weather permitting, luckily for me the weather during my stay was sunny and warm.
For lunch I had a snack from the pool snack bar, I highly recommend the Traditional Greek Salad, very light, fresh and tasty.
After a rest it was time for dinner and this evening I had booked into the Ledra Italian Restaurant, The service was excellent and food was delicious, for starter I opted for Prosciutto & Melon followed by Tenderloin Steak with Gorgonzola-Alfredo Sauce.
After dinner I went to the Nectar Bar to sample the evening entertainment which was a live singer who entertained with a good selection of songs.
24th March – 27th March 2025
During the following days I sampled the various facilities at the Athena Beach Hotel including the pools, and different restaurants and evening entertainment.
I also walked along the coastal path that runs in front of the hotel and takes you down to Paphos Harbour, it’s a lovely walk and takes approximately 30mins to walk at a leisurely pace.
The Number 611 Bus also runs from outside the front of the hotel and this takes you into central Paphos next to the harbour for just 2 Euros each way where you can also connect to other busses to various other areas including Coral Bay.
27th March – 30th March 2025
The Constantinou Asimina Suites Hotel.
Check in at this beautiful hotel was very quick and after a welcome glass of fizz and a cold towel to refresh I was taken to my suite for the next few days.
I stayed in a 1 Bedroom Suite and all I can say is WOW this room was stunning with fantastic facilities and a gorgeous view out over the pool area and sea.
My suite consisted of a Lounge area with coffee table & sofa, mini fridge, Tea & Coffee making facilities including an Espresso machine and tv, then through sliding doors into the bedroom which also had a tv and then from the bedroom a large bathroom which had a his & hers sink, Huge bath tub and a separate rain shower cubical and separate toilet, Facilities included luxury toiletries, bathrobes & slippers a stocked mini bar* (As I was on All Inclusive) Fresh fruit platter on arrival.
It was then time to explore the hotel and check out the great facilities this hotel has to offer!
The Spa looked fantastic, although I didn’t use it my self it was highly recommended by some of my travelling companions and they offer various offers for different treatments and experiences.
The hotel has various restaurants to choose from including Buffet and A la Carte options and a lovely pool/beach front option, Again Al fresco dining is available which is beautiful under the warm Cypriot sunshine and there is plenty of shade available too.
The Hotel has 2 interconnected fresh water swimming pools and plenty of sun loungers which are very comfortable, these are located around the pools on the terrace areas and also on the grass and beach areas in front of the hotel.
The coastal pathway runs in front of the hotel down to the harbour in Paphos and again this is a lovely walk or the bus stops right outside the hotel to Paphos Town centre.
28th March 2025
Today after breakfast we had a presentation from Constantinou Bros Hotels about there hotels in Paphos. The Athena Beach, The Athena Royal Beach, The Asimina Suites and The Pioneer Beach. These are a great selection of hotels all in a prime location on the sea front in Paphos, All of these hotels have direct access to the coastal pathway into Paphos harbour which is a delightful walk.
All of the hotels offer various different room categories from Classic rooms up to swim up suites, Each hotel also offers different board options Bed & Breakfast, Half Board, Full Board and All Inclusive, with a selection of different restaurants & bars to choose from many with spectacular views out across the Mediterranean.
Each hotel also offers a varied entertainment program day and evening including water aerobics, darts, Bowls, Dancing plus much more.
You can also get married here in stunning surroundings and Holiday Lounge can arrange this for you.
We then had the opportunity to sample one of the activities that is bookable in resort and this was the Gin Tasting Experience held at the Athena Royal Beach in the St Andrews Rooftop Bar which offers spectacular views out towards Paphos harbour.
This evening we had a Greco Roman Theme Dinner held at the Asimina Suites, Togas were provided and this was a very entertaining evening with traditional Greek/Cypriot singers and dancers with an abundance of Cypriot foods.
29th March 2025
Today we had the opportunity to sample an excursion to see traditional mountain villages, Old Paphos and Aphrodite’s Rock and to sample some Cypriot wine. This was a great experience and so much to see!
This evening we had a farewell dinner hosted by Constantinou Bros Hotels, What an amazing experience this has been, The food at all of the hotels has been so good and there is so much choice to choose from.
30th March 2025
Its time to say good bye to beautiful Cyprus and the fantastic hospitality from Constantinou Bros Hotels, Another great flight back to the UK with Jet2.com.
