Celebrity’s visionary design raises the bar on cruise holidays to even greater heights. A team of world-class designers that are new to the cruise ship design and chosen to ensure every aspect of Edge would be a departure from traditional thinking about cruising. An outstanding collection of designers includes the mastery of Kelly Hoppen, Tom Wright of WKK; and adding to the design team our newly appointed Design Ambassador, award-winning interior designer Nate Berkus.

One of the biggest influences on the design of Edge was a desire to make the destination experience even more immersive-starting right on-board. Celebrity Edge has a unique outward facing design that breaks from traditional ship design. On Celebrity Edge, you will feel more connected with the sea and the exciting places you’ll visit in a variety of spaced ranging from our Edge Staterooms, featuring Infinite Balcony to our reimagined, terraced pool deck that offers even greater views of the destinations and every glorious shimmer of ocean in-between.

When it came to naming this visionary new vessel, Celebrity looked no further than the very thing that makes this ship so unique — the fact that during two years of exploration and excitement every single design element has been taken to the leading edge of possibility.

Celebrity Edge is coming to Europe in 2019

Celebrity are introducing Celebrity Edge to the world with a choice of exclusive 7-night Caribbean itineraries throughout winter 2018/19. Closer to home, Celebrity Edge will offer a range of 7-, 10- and 11-night sailings out of Rome and Barcelona for 2019, including an exclusive sailing direct from Southampton.

From Valencia to Valletta and Monaco to Mykonos – with longer stays at every destination, your customers will uncover more of Europe in every direction – as well as two brand new ports of call; Nauplion on Greece’s Argolis Peninsula and Santa Margherita, the gateway to Portofino on the Italian Riviera.
